Bringing it home
The papers sorted, a set of ECE-compliant 4 points harnesses fitted and the MOT passed, it's time to bring it home.
As I did bring the license plates the day before, the car was ready on the first hour of that Saturday morning.
It got it with a full tank of fuel, a really nice experience. The driver seat runners needed some tinkering before I could adjust it to my size although all worked fine when I did test-drive it. Go figure.
First a quick hop to show it to my mother, obviously. She's curious but not impressed.
Back home, a short drive with my son (a delivery man crossed the road while looking at his phone and got the scare of his life, I should have installed the dash-cam right away), a short drive with my daughter...
And finally a longer drive with my girlfriend - who drove it too as you can see below - under some freaking snow in the Ardennes.
We stopped halfway to remove the roof for the first time, and had to put bit back maybe 30 minutes later due to bad weather.
